At SOKO, we believe that the best ideas emerge when knowledge meets experience. That's why we were delighted to collaborate with students from the University of York Europe Campus – CITY College in Thessaloniki on two exciting projects designed to tackle real business challenges and prepare the next generation of professionals for the realities of today's business world.

As part of this collaboration, students worked on two jointly developed projects focusing on topics that are shaping the future of our industry: Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies and SOKO's transformation from a B2B to a B2C approach in the Greek and Bulgarian markets.

Over the course of several months, the students immersed themselves in research, market analysis, strategic thinking, and teamwork. Their task was not simply to study business concepts but to apply them to real challenges faced by SOKO, developing practical and innovative solutions.

The projects were supervised by Dr. Alexandra Prodromidou, PhD, together with SOKO's Marketing Director, Robert Smileski, creating a valuable bridge between academic excellence and industry expertise.

When presentation day arrived, the results exceeded our expectations. The students demonstrated outstanding analytical thinking, creativity, professionalism, and a genuine passion for solving complex business challenges. Their fresh perspectives encouraged meaningful discussions and reminded us of the value that young talent brings to today's business environment.
